Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Reprise ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Reprise is a mobile application designed to help musicians:

• Track practice sessions and progress
• Use professional audio tools (tuner, metronome, recorder, drone)
• Connect with teachers, students, and parents
• Participate in social features and challenges

Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• Users of all ages may use the App; users under 13 should have parental consent
• You may delete your account at any time through Settings
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes, respect other users, and keep your credentials secure.

You agree not to: share inappropriate content, harass or bully others, impersonate others, attempt unauthorized access, upload malicious code, or scrape user data.

User Content

• You retain ownership of content you create (recordings, posts, comments)
• By posting content, you grant us a license to display it within the App
• Content must comply with our guidelines (no copyrighted material without permission, no spam, no sharing others' personal information)
• We may remove content that violates these guidelines
• Audio recordings are stored securely; you control access and can delete them at any time

Classroom Features

• Teachers: Maintain professional boundaries and respect student privacy
• Students: Submit only your own work and follow classroom rules
• Parents: Monitor activity appropriately and respect the teacher-student relationship

Social Features

• Only connect with people you know and trust
• You can block or remove connections at any time
• Report inappropriate behavior to our support team
• Participate fairly in leaderboards and challenges

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design and features, is our property. The App uses open source components listed in Settings > About > Open Source Licenses.

Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or specific results. The App is a practice tool, not a replacement for professional instruction.

Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States.
